German icon @karllagerfeld brought years of creativity and innovation to the brands he led, and went to extraordinary lengths to continue Gabrielle Chanel's vision. The former Chanel Creative Director could have celebrated 87th birthday today. He passed away in Paris at the age of 85, but his presence is still greatly missed by the fashion world. 📍He expertly managed to change the old-school image of the house of Chanel while introducing branded everyday items to the line, in addition to being responsible for some of Chanel's most iconic runway moments.
