Emphasis on the body serves to highlight action, activity, further underscored by garments with a softness and inherent ease – the attitude of movement, transposed. Pleats and gathers animate dresses. Tailored suits express a universal classicism – paradoxically, vents allow glimpses of the body, unconstrained.
