It was in the heart of the countryside, one hour from Paris as the crow flies, that the designer invited a few hand-picked guests to attend a show unlike any other. “It was important to have a show because it’s at the heart of our brand; our strategy revolves around the moment,” Jacquemus told. 🔥The wheat fields of Us, a commune in the Val-D'Oise region of France, were arranged to accommodate about a hundred guests in a rural and poetic setting. A succession of pretty, simple, but always sexy dresses, showing off some skin here and there, glamorous drapes of monochrome white, pale yellow and black, retro-inspired suits, very nineties-style cuts of arty variations on the shirt, the slip dress, or new playful accessories like the hamper bag as a nod to picnics in the fields.
