The never-seen-before virtual fashion week is going strong 🔥and it’s @dior ’s just presented its A/W 2020/2021 ⚡️⚡️⚡️Haute Couture show in the form of a film directed by Matteo Garrone, whom we know from projects like Pinocchio or Tale of Tales. 📌The Italian director brought his vision to the pieces designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. 📌A filmmaker born in Rome, Matteo Garrone has twice received – in 2008 and 2012 – the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. First, for Gomorra, an adaptation of Roberto Saviano’s best-selling film of the same name, a relentless fresco about the Neapolitan mafia (also nominated for a Golden Globe, BAFTA Awards and César for Best Foreign Film), then for Reality, a comedy denouncing the illusions of reality TV. ☄️Perpetuating its unfailing ties to Italian cinema and culture, Dior has entrusted him with the production of a unique film revealing the Fall-Winter 2020-2021 Haute Couture collection by @mariagraziachiuri .
