The 77th Venice International Film Festival is organised by La Biennale di Venezia @labiennale and will be held on the Lido di Venezia ‪from 2 to 12 September 2020‬.  @alberto.barbera1 announced that Cate Blanchett was elected to be President of the Festival. Cate Blanchett is an internationally acclaimed and award-winning actress, producer, humanitarian, and dedicated member of the arts community. In recognition of her continued advocacy for the arts and support of humanitarian and environmental causes. In 2018, Blanchett served as Jury President of the 71st Cannes Film Festival in France.
